"I don't think there are enough words for me to accurately sum up how much Lynette has impacted my life. I reached out at a time where I was stuck in an abusive relationship and going through the toughest time in my life. When I think of Lynette, I think of kindness, warmth and a motherly energy that immediately makes you feel seen, safe and understood. I feel like a totally different person since having sessions with Lynette and I can't begin to thank her for reminding me of my worth and helping me find myself again. I dread to think where I would be now if I hadn't reached out to her. She is sunshine in a human form."

"I have seen many therpists throughout my life as a result of childhood trauma, which has caused anxiety and depression. I was struggling to come out of an abusive and controlling relationship with a narcissistic partner. I had tried to walk away several times, but the trauma bond was making me go back each time. It was slowly ruining my life. I had also suffered with a dysfunctional narcissistic mother throughout my life, which had been a lifelong struggle and battle for me.

I gave up hope of finding a therapist that would understand what I was going through, and in particular the dynamics of my relationships. Then I found Lynette, words cannot express the difference she made in my life, she completely understood what I was facing and we worked on why I was allowing myself to be treated so poorly. It was literally life changing, Lynette is patient, kind, incredibly educated and knowledgeable, as a counsellor and I can't thank her enough for what she has done for me.

I am a different person to who I was the first time I met her, I'm so grateful for her support, encouragement and understanding. She is more than a counsellor."

"It's difficult to put into words the depths of how Lynette has changed my life. I'd been apprehensive about seeing a therapist for years but after one session I felt lighter than I had done since I was a child. After six months of fortnightly sessions, she's helped me become the person I've always wanted to be − to the point where I don't even fully recognise who I was while anxiety and depression had a hold on me.
I'm writing this a couple of months after our sessions ended and I still feel like I did at my last appointment. I'm more confident, secure and happier than I have ever been − and I could not have got to this stage without Lynette.
I will never forget what Lynette has done for me, or the advice she gave me. I no longer feel like I'm slipping back into depression and the anxious moments I do have are minimal and easy to manage. I highly recommend that anyone who is struggling with their mental health makes an appointment to see her."

"I have suffered with depression and anxiety for over 10 years. Since losing a close friend, I have experienced really bad health anxiety. I got to a point where I was suffering so badly with my thoughts, I knew I needed to seek professional help. I started searching for someone who specialised in health anxiety and I cam upon Lynette and her lovely picture, and I knew straight away I wanted to make an appointment with her. From the moment I met Lynette, she made me feel comfortable and safe. Lynette has taught me how to tackle my thoughts and reminded me that I am 'alive' and 'living', and I can face any negative thought or feeling head on. I finally feel after all this time that I can live my life and look to a more positive future. Lynette has helped me immensely and I will forever be thankful for her help. I know she will be there if I ever needed to see her again and that gives me great comfort."

"Lynette has helped me to move beyond a deeply painful and emotional part of my life. I am a professional person, competent and proud, but I reached what I know now as Burnout! I was carrying so much anguish inside that it was intolerable. It was affecting all areas of my life on a daily basis and I quite simply felt like just switching off. I could not cope.
However from my first conversation with Lynette, I found my emotions flowing out, and I'm pretty sure I cried for the next four sessions! She had such a gentle understanding, and did not judge me. She helped me understand so much about myself and also about others. I was allowed to really 'feel' and acknowledge things from my life which I had dismissed or had held myself responsible for (which in my case related mainly to covert narcissist abuse). Working with Lynette, and reading the materials she guided me to, enabled me to REALLY understand, and also to feel empowered by the process of being heard, listened to, supported, understood and treated with kindness. This has truly redirected me into a path of healing.
I am so very grateful for finding Lynette at that time, and I would recommend to anyone who may be struggling to reach out to her.
Thanks you. Xx"

"Lynette helped me in one of the darkest times that I have ever been through. After uprooting my life and having the only significant people in my life leave me, I turned to drugs and meaningless relationships. Lynette helped me learn not just how to grieve in a healthy way, but how to cope with day to day struggles I was experiencing. Lynette helped me push through to get diagnosed with BPD and I'm now getting the help I need! Since my sessions with her I've been drug free and have the skills I need to get on with my day to day life. She truly is a godsend!"

"I am a Counsellor myself and I so enjoyed therapy with Nettie as my counsellor. She is so compassionate, knowledgeable, professional, but also ''down to earth'' and so grounded. I can highly recommend her.
She supported me so much that I was able to become ''me''. I felt so listened to; respected; heard and valued.
Thank you so much Nettie."

"Just want to say a huge, massive thank you for your support, guidance and for listening to me and believing that I could get through things. You had more faith in me than I had in myself and in the time I've spent coming to see you I have learnt so much. I know myself better already and how to treat with more love and compassion. I feel so much less anxious, less afraid of things and more able to see things for the now and for the moment in time rather than the past or future. I don't know what you do or how you do it, I think you are a little bit magic or you are a guardian angel of some sort because I've never felt so much calm and high come from another. I am grateful that you were the one that helped me mend and heal all the broken pieces. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being able to help me to where I am now and for making me smile again and be able to enjoy the special precious times with my daughter. You are absolutely amazing at what you do. Thank you so very much xxxx"

"Walking alongside me with kindness, care, compassion and empathy, Lynette has helped me to accept and move forward from my historic domestic abuse experiences, empowering me to own my story. My healing and recovery process of post traumatic stress disorder has been lengthy, and I am extremely grateful to Lynette for her patience with me; also, her expertise in this area, and holding me emotionally safe throughout all our sessions has been profound. Despite my many tears, Lynette has helped me to see the sunshine through many stormy clouds with her beautiful way of being. And now, I can constantly see the sunshine, with acceptance and knowledge that if or when those clouds reappear, they will certainly pass. Thank you so much for being you Lynette!"

"After suffering with anxiety issues for many years I finally plucked up the courage to seek help. My doctor suggested seeing a therapist but I was very sceptical to start off, I didn't think talking would be of any benefit to me. From the first session I instantly felt comfortable talking about my issues with Lynette. I didn't feel any pressure to talk about anything I didn't want to. I was introduced to meditation and mindfulness and after just a few sessions I now have a much more positive outlook on life and feel so much more in control of my thoughts. I can't thank Lynette enough for her help and I was amazed at how effective the treatment was, I feel like a different person! I would recommend Lynette to anyone suffering with mental health."

"I was referred to Lynette via my employer for stress and anxiety. It was the best thing to have happened to me, as she was patient and understanding in her approach, especially when my mind was all over the place. Lynette gave me pieces of work to complete to aid my recovery and help me see and appreciate my worth as well as empower me to make the decision I was afraid to make. Lynnette was totally honest, but it also made me think and be honest with myself. Which is very empowering and what I needed. Thank you x"

"I started meeting with Lynette when my self-criticism had damaged my quality of life. My self-esteem was at rock bottom and had negatively impacted the growth of my business, my relationship and my overall happiness. I felt nervous going into counselling, and somewhat skeptical. I felt as though permanent damage had been. As a former athlete, I had experienced 14 years of negative coaching experience that had me questioning my self worth. However, Lynette helped me to feel calm and collected and helped me to understand myself better in just an hour. By the third session, I felt control coming back into my life and I began to take pride in who I am and what I've achieved. Since clearing out that emotional residue, my partner and I get on better than ever. My business is expanding to a new county and is working with a charity to aid underprivileged youths. I am happy, grateful and emotionally resilient. I feel bullet proof!"

"How do I start I never thought I would be writing this but hey I am so let's start. I am a woman who since 2015 has suffered with extreme anxiety and depression, on a daily basis in fact. All day I would have these intrusive thoughts, simply I was imprisoned in this circle of negativity. Medication does help, but I still couldn't live and I knew this couldn't go on. I had some NHS help but not effective, I went online and typed anxiety help and I was instantly drawn to one particular picture and that was the one of Lynette and I emailed to see if she would see me. The following day I had a beautiful warm email offering me an appointment. I had mixed emotions, but I had nothing to lose as I was already losing. My first appointment my husband came and waited in the car, I was feeling nauseous with anxiety, but then this beautiful smiling face came to meet me. I was working that evening and I had fifty minutes of me pouring all my anxieties out and Lynette just listening but even after my first session I could tell this was right. By the second session I drove myself. I felt I was going somewhere safe something I hadn't felt in many years. Lynette taught me that I had not browsed or window shopped I bought into my therapy. After six sessions I'm ALIVE and LIVING how this amazing god send of a lady can do this I am totally baffled. Lynette has saved my life and her face and voice and homework she gave me is a daily reminder to me. Please if your struggling like I was and have no hope, there is help out there and her name is The Listening Helper x"

"I contacted Lynette after my first ever panic attack, which took me by complete surprise. Lynette was recommended to me by a friend in the mental health field. I knew after our first meeting that she was the right therapist for me. Her empathy and understanding was exactly what I needed. Lynette helped me discover the many toxic influences in my life that caused the panic attack, to understand why my body reacted like that and also to manage my symptoms. I acted on all the exercises given and in a very very short time I found myself feeling like myself again. Prior to the counselling I thought I'd have panic forever but from Lynette's advice and guidance it literally took only months. The experience has lifted my self confidence, calmed my life to relieve stresses and positively influenced my business. Thank you so much Lynette."

"Lynette has been helping me to regain my appetite for life after I reached a very low point earlier this year. I felt like a wreck when I first met Lynette and I seem to remember crying for almost all of our first session together, but boy, did I feel like a weight had been lifted afterwards! Lynette has helped me to understand how I got to such a low point and, almost more importantly, how I can move on from those feelings. After just a few sessions, I have a much clearer understanding of what I need to do to keep well and I've been able to return to work with an enthusiasm I never thought I would experience again. I'm so grateful to Lynette for her help, her understanding and her sense of humour; I really don't know how things would have turned out for me without her support. Thank you Lynette, from the bottom of my (much lighter) heart."

"I came to Lynette via a referral by my Doctor and local mental health advisor, both recommending her to me. At first I was sceptical as with anyone with a mental health problem, you tend to believe you're the only person suffering and your issues are incurable. Lynette quickly put me at ease, listened to my problems and more importantly, understood what my problems were and how to help remedy them. She introduced me to mindfulness, and made me realise that my thinking is completely illogical. Made me realise that there is nothing wrong with me as such, apart from my perception of the perceived problem. I still have days where I'm anxious and feel a bit hopeless, but now I know what is going on and how to deal with it. Furthermore, each 'bad spell' I have is now succeeded by longer spells of 'normality'. In other words I'm getting well and fast."

Female - Port Talbot

"I went to a counsellor after suffering a sudden loss; Lynette was recommended by a family member. It took me a while to accept I needed help, but when I took the plunge I realised it was the best thing I could have done. Thanks to Lynette's compassion and friendly demeanour I recognised that what I was feeling was normal and that grief has its own cycle you have to work through. Lynette put me at ease and through her calm discussions made things apparent to me that I could not see before. She helped rebuild my confidence. I have kept the worksheets that Lynette gave me; I occasionally refer to them - but the occasions are getting fewer."

Female - Port Talbot

"I couldn't have wished for a better therapist than Lynette! From our very first session I felt like a weight had been lifted and was on my way to understanding why I felt the way I did and how the things that had happened to me had affected me. Lynette is so down to earth, open and honest and ! instantly felt right at home and so comfortable. I couldn't recommend her enough. Take the leap and you won't regret it!"

Female - Neath

"My therapy with Lynette has been invaluable and I cannot be thankful enough. I was plagued with anxiety and negative thoughts for many years. Lynette soon identified the issues and only after a few sessions, I started to feel so much more positive about the future and much more confident. Therapy helped me greatly with my anxiety issues and restored my self esteem. I feel good enough again, and more importantly, I am finally capable of moving forward in my life and make the most of it ."

"I've always been a worrier, but family issues got me to a really low point, which I was struggling to overcome. I was really apprehensive on my first visit, as I wasn't sure if I would be able to open up and tell a stranger how I felt. However, Lynette was so welcoming, and on my first visit, spoke to her about everything that was causing such sadness in my life. I felt like I was speaking to a friend. Lynette made me look at the reasons as to why I was reacting to my worries/anxiety the way I did. Stress/anxiety/worry is part of life - but I've learnt, through my sessions with Lynette on how to manage it. Thank you Lynette, I am so glad I found you ."

"Eighteen months after losing my ex-husband to suicide I found I was struggling to cope with all my emotions and also supporting my two children, there was a point where I did not know where to turn. Like many others I was slightly sceptical but Lynette helped me to break down each emotion and to talk through my feelings as well as giving me the tools to help me outside of each session which I still use on a daily/weekly basis. In a short space of time I became stronger again and would not hesitate to go back for further sessions and a strong advocate for both counselling and Lynette. Thank you Lynette."

"I started to see Lynette following a stressful period with work which left me being signed off with stress and anxiety. During this period I was also going through some difficulties in a relationship and during our sessions Lynette helped, supported and encouraged me to see the reality of what was happening. Whilst I was seeing my then partners behaviour as normal, through our sessions Lynette helped me to see that the behaviour was completely abnormal. I was later attacked by my ex partner and I was able to eventually see sense with Lynette's help. Ultimately Lynette helped me to see my value and to realise my worth. It was a hugely difficult period but I managed to find the belief and strength to walk away from an employer who had been using intimidation tactics and find another job where I am respected and valued. Lynette also helped me to realise I was in a toxic relationship and to walk away from a narcissist. Lynette has a great sense of empathy and understanding and gives great guidance to help you make sense of your situation ."

"I am incredibly fortunate to have come across Lynette. She has helped me through one of the toughest times I've gone through. She has helped me come to terms with toxic relationships and to achieve closure with them. Her style of therapy was essential for me to open up. She is a safe, warm person who makes you feel at ease. There is no pressure with Lynette, she lets you go at your own pace with patience and reassurance. I know I wouldn't be anywhere close to how far I've come without her nurturing support. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a safe place/ person to confide in."

"Lynette made to feel completely comfortable and at ease and I found her extremely easy to talk to. She helped talk me through my issues but did not pressure me into talking about something that I did not want to talk about. After only a couple of sessions I now have a more positive outlook on life. I would definitely recommend Lynette to anyone who needs help."

Female - Llanelli

"When I first went to see Lynette my anxiety was completely overwhelming me and every aspect of life was a struggle because of it. I didn't know which way to turn or where to start and second guessed every decision I made. I'd never been to therapy before but I felt completely relaxed talking about everything with Lynette as she was so understanding. She taught me tools to deal with my anxiety on a day to day basis and helped me to understand why I feel the way I do. After seeing Lynette for a couple of months her work with me made such a difference to me and I now feel a lot stronger and more in control of my anxiety and able to get on with my day to day life without it affecting me to such an extent. I accept that I may not ever be completely over my anxiety but it is so reassuring to know I will always be able to go back and see Lynette whenever I feel that I need help, and that she will be able to help me think things through."

"I was passed on Lynette's details through a friend of my dad who couldn't recommend her more. Suffice to say when I started sessions with Lynette I felt at my lowest. My anxiety was at sky high, I didn't feel like myself, I felt lost, alone and depressed. I have always been someone to put myself down but my hatred towards myself had gone to a new high. I also suffered terribly with anxiety that even the drive to meet her for counselling I cried because I was petrified of driving, something I've been doing for years. It was as if everything became a worry, a fear. After only a couple sessions with Lynette I could see a huge difference and so could my family. Now, upon completing my time with her I have gained so much. She has taught me how to deal with my feelings and given me the ability to live my life and no longer be afraid. For the first time in my life I feel like I'm being authentic, I now love the person I see in the mirror and I do things that make me happy. It's never easy and there will be days where I will feel anxiety creeping in but Lynette has provided with me so much guidance that it no longer scares me. She's made me proud of the person I am today and I will forever be grateful for her help. She is a compassionate, caring and nurturing person, who is fantastic at her job. "

"Before I reached out to Lynette, I had experienced a great deal of grief and loss in a sort space of time, including family bereavement, the sectioning of a sibling and the diagnosis of cancer for a parent. I was stressed, suffering frequent panic attacks and fearful of everything collapsing around me; I got to the point where I knew that I needed to do something and, with the suggestion of my personal trainer, I sought counselling. During my first few sessions, I held back quite a bit mainly out of a feeling of not wanting to be 'vulnerable' or to be seen as someone who is 'weak' but Lynette's kindness and empathy began to put me at ease and allowed me to open up in a way I hadn't been able to do before. I began to unpack issues and emotions that over the years I had buried and allowed to fester; in finally coming to terms with my thoughts over the years and laying them to rest, I was able to understand how these feelings had continued to affect me years down the line, especially in how I dealt with stressful and negative times in my life. Today, I am in a far more positive mindset than I have ever been and feel better equipped to face moving forward with the strategies and support Lynette has given me. I can't thank you enough Lynette, for your patience and kindness as you guided me through a very difficult period in my life."

"After slight apprehension about engaging with Counselling; I looked through many Counsellor CV's but I knew I'd made the right decision straight away after meeting Lynette. Her expertise and input have helped me greatly and the whole process felt really productive. It's so much more than just conversing - with directed elements and engagement throughout. The more I put into the process, the more I got out. It's clear from her approach that she is highly skilled and experienced with such an individualised approach. It's been a real success for me and I would not hesitate to recommend Lynette."

"I was referred to Lynette through an external organisation who had no previous dealings with Lynette. I have had numerous dealings with counsellors and tried various methods to assist with recovery. I can say without doubt, Lynette is among the best I have experienced, and there was a great connection, positive trusting environment. I would often receive emails with additional articles and information to aid my symptoms. Lynette genuinely cares and is a credit to her profession, I could not recommend her enough and this has been fed back with others being referred."

Male - Swansea

"From the off Lynette created an open, welcoming and judgement free environment. As an over thinker, I would focus on thoughts and feelings that greatly upset me and caused me to feel a huge amount of guilt. Lynette not only made me realise that these thoughts are normal, but that it is also okay to feel upset by them. She helped me achieve the confidence I needed to be more open about my problems with friends and family, and helped guide me to a new perspective on things, as well as give me the reassurance and coping mechanisms I needed for when I over thought and caused me to spiral. Thanks to these counselling sessions I feel I have a more positive outlook on life, and feel that several of my relationships caused by these problems are getting back on track ."

Female - Bridgend

"I contacted Lynette on a recommendation and I would now happily recommend her to others. She is a skilled counsellor who guided me through my long term issues of low self esteem and self worth in a sensitive manner and at my own pace until a time when I actually had a light bulb moment and everything seemed to become clear. I now feel more positive than ever and with the strategies I've learned am living every day in the moment, practicing self care and working towards being the best version of me. If you're prepared to put the effort in on your side you won't be disappointed with the Listening Helper."

"Just want to say thank you again Lynette. Feeling better within myself and better equipped for any blips that may happen in the future and it's down to our chats and you helping me understand myself. "When I first sought the services of Lynette I was in a very dark place. With Lynette's guidance I was able to recognise the obstacles that had prevented me from thinking straight and valuing the life that I had led and showing me that I still had a fantastic life ahead of me. Not only did I understand my current issues but Lynette was able to identify circumstances in my past that I had not dealt with properly. I now feel very optimistic about the future and although I am aware that there will be some bumps in the road ahead Lynette has given me the confidence to see the bigger picture and move forward. I highly recommend the service that I received and would not hesitate to contact Lynette again in the future. Thank you so much for you caring approach."

"First off I want to get it across that I was 100% sceptical about therapy. I initially reached out to Lynette for help after speaking with one of my friends who has had therapy suggested I speak with someone. Lynette offered several locations and was very easy to set up a time with. She helped talk me through my father's death and helped me deal with my fear that I to would die young and although it may be completely coincidental since finishing my time with Lynette I have began to notice more positives in my life and feel happier than ever. I cannot recommend her enough! Kind, caring and easy to talk to. Thank you Lynette you've helped me beyond what my wildest hopes were."

Female - Swansea

"Lynette's counselling was invaluable at a time that I was at a loss with dealing with illness and work related issues. I found Lynette so friendly, so it was easy to talk through things together. The sessions gave me new perspectives and have allowed me to let go and move on."

Female - Port Talbot

"I got in touch with Lynette when I felt at crisis point with my mental health. Even though I did struggle to talk about my feelings initially, she really did put me at ease and after our sessions I could literally feel the weight lift off my shoulders. She made me see that my problems were not always the worst in the world (as I once thought) and that there was definitely a way out. I thank Lynette for lifting my spirits and always providing a different, positive perspective on life that will stay with me forever. I would honestly recommend her to anyone!"

"From my first session I was made to feel completely comfortable and at ease with Lynette. I was diagnosed with agoraphobia 4 years ago and since then I had felt lost and struggled to find ways to overcome it. Lynette helped me talk through my feelings and fears and gave me the tools, techniques and confidence to overcome my agoraphobia. After only a handful of sessions with Lynette I feel I now have my agoraphobia under control and as I continue with my changed mindset and using the techniques I have learnt I will be able to move on with my life and not let it affect me anymore. I cannot thank Lynette enough for all her help, support and encouragement."

Male - Llanelli

"I have only experienced empathy and warmth from Lynette. She always remained very mindful of what was happening in my life, and demonstrated complete engagement with whatever issues I brought. She let me do my therapy at my own pace and stayed with me the whole time. Often she would challenge me to look further or deeper at my issues but never pressured me into talking about something that I did not want to talk about. Her deepest skill was perhaps in the relationship and making us both feel like humans in the room."

"From the outset Lynette was a breath of fresh air. I have been battling against anxiety, depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after suffering a very serious accident at work. Lynette's friendly approach put me at ease immediately and I found her extremely easy to talk to. We set out goals and aims from the outset, to help me to focus, as I was struggling to deal with numerous problems all at once. Lynette's calm and understanding nature helped me to get the best out of our sessions and this in turn helped me to understand my thoughts and emotions. Finding the right counsellor was key to my recovery which is still ongoing, Lynette made me feel at ease and able to talk about my issues and problems which I was facing. Thank you so much Lynette, for all your help and guidance through this very difficult time."

"When I lost both my Parents in a relatively short period of time, I was finding the grief difficult to deal with. When a friend suggested counselling I was unsure, as I am a very private person and did not feel that I would find it easy to open up. However, as soon as I met Lynette, her kindness and compassion made me feel at ease and I felt comfortable to open up and talk about how I was feeling. As the sessions progressed I could feel the benefit of being able to talk about how I was feeling, and coupled with the coping strategies Lynette gave me, I felt far better equipped to cope with my grief. I still have good days and bad days, but thanks to the help and support I received from Lynette, I find it easier to get through the bad days."

"I needed some help in working some issues through that I had let fester, and as a result and ended up in a bad place. I took the decision to seek counselling and was lucky enough to have been recommended to see Lynette. I am more than happy now to also recommend lynettes services to anyone who thinks they would benefit from some counselling. Lynette was kind, caring, professional and knowledgeable in her subject, everything a good counsellor needs to be. If life ever throws me another curve ball and I needed to have a fresh perspective on things I would certainly be heading back to see Lynette."

"I cannot thank Lynette enough or recommend her any more highly for what she has done for me. My experience with Lynette has been wonderful. She has taught me to manage and understand my disorder and has provided me with all the tools to handle my depression. I have already recommended her to friends, and wouldn't hesitate to do so in future. She is warm and open, and made me feel at ease instantly. I always look forward to my appointments with her, which often have been like a beacon of light during difficult times. I have no doubt that had it not been for Lynette, I would be in a very different and dark place today, whereas I now feel in control of my life and mood, positive about the future. Her support during sessions was always stellar, but little texts of encouragement when she knew I was facing something really difficult meant the world to me and only reaffirmed that I could rely on and trust her. Lynette, thank you so much for everything you've done for me. I really can't put into words how much I appreciate your help, and how much it has changed my life. The understanding you have given me, the support and stability, have resulted in me being in a positive place for the first time - a place I never really saw myself in after 10 years of depression. I looked for help so many times and so often felt let down by those I trusted to help me, and you have restored my faith and been a constant comfort. You are an amazing person, and I'm so glad to have met you. Thank you so much for changing my life for the better."

"I have had depression for over ten years, feeling locked up inside, existing not living, no joy, no emotions, in a word just numb. My negative thoughts tortured me, the what "if's " thoughts constant. Unable to trust myself and my perception of everything and situations were clouded. At my worst unable to go out of the house, happier, safer at home. My last bout of clinical depression was a biggie, unable to control my emotions, anxiety so bad could hardly breathe, crying all the time, just unable to cope with the simple things. I had awful thoughts, suicidal thoughts, I was scared, so scared, the only thing keeping me here was my family. Another trip to the doctors and on the maximum dose of my meds, my doctor suggesting counselling, he gave me a name Lynette Evans. I made the appointment unsure of what to expect, but Lynette is amazing, she is a very caring, compassionate lady, does not judge you. She introduced me to mindfulness, this has changed my life. I am filling up with tears (of joy) as I write this, she gave me the tools to start living again, literally. As of now my meds are reduced drastically, don't get me wrong I do still have some blips but with Lynette's help I know I will be ok. I now say this to myself every day: Forget the past - Embrace the present - Look forward to future. Thank you Lynette, from the bottom of my heart xx"

"I cannot put into words how much I appreciated my time with Lynette. After experiencing domestic violence over 12 years ago and subsequent violence from a relative on occasions over many years, I finally felt ready to face my past and to find closure, as it was severely impacting relationships, my self worth and self esteem. Lynette helped me work through difficult emotions and understand my feelings in such a patient, kind and empathetic way. Her passion to help and guide others through their difficulties is inspiring and commendable. I was always made to feel comfortable, relaxed and not at any time judged. Lynette helped me find the closure I needed and taught me how to 'love' myself again through techniques that I will use again in the future. I needed to make peace with my past otherwise it would have continued to ruin any chance of a happy future, which I deserve. Lynette patiently saw me through a difficult transition in my personal life, her genuine care, support and belief shone through all of the time. I feel I am a completely different person now and for this, I am truly thankful to Lynette. I would like to thank Lynette for helping me find closure and to let go of my past; I can now move forward and look ahead to a happy future."

"Suffering with anxiety and needing to take time off work, I found contacting someone for help as a huge step. Speaking with Lynette was an easy experience from the first session, she is friendly and understanding and every time I left a session I felt like I could accomplish anything. I found it so easy to talk to her and never once felt like I was on my own and even now I know shes there if I ever feel I need some support and that is comforting to know. Lynette has helped me overcome a lot of my issues and given me the tools to help myself. So grateful for all her help and support."

"Right from the beginning Lynette was warm, friendly and putting me at ease. I began to see that I was too focused on other people's needs with little idea about my own. Through discussion and written exercises I have been able to identify situations that I would not consider my own needs and feel comfortable in saying no and setting boundaries when needed. The impartial advice and validation of my situation has helped me in my new role at work and in my personal life."

Female - Neath

"I cannot thank Lynette enough for her help and support and guidance during a particularly challenging point in my life. When I first met Lynette I was lost, sad and a shadow of my former self. After only a few short session things changed massively for me, in way that a few weeks prior I could not have envisaged. Lynette is a truly wonderful, kind and very talented person. I think Lynette is incredible at what she does, and without her I would not be in the great place I am today. Since meeting Lynette I have recommended her fabulous service to friends and family because I know how beneficial seeing her has been to me."

"As a terrible over-thinker when my personal situation changed for the worse I entered into a mental merry-go-round that would spiral down and lead to depression. At these times I found it very difficult to see a way out or any light at the end of the tunnel. It was a difficult decision for me to seek counselling and even more nerve wracking to spend time talking through my issues. Lynette was able to help shine a light into some of my dark places and help me recognise the self-harming psychological cycle that I was engaged in. Lynette was able to give me poignant advice, taking out many of the emotional constraints that I had self-imposed while not ignoring or belittling these feelings. Lynette is a true professional with a substantial depth of knowledge and uses great skill to bring this knowledge bear. She is really down to earth, empathic and very easy to talk to. From the moment I met her I knew I could trust her and I knew going to her for help was the right decision."

"When I was at my lowest point I decided to look for a counsellor and found Lynette. I had no idea what to expect. The first sessions were very difficult and tearful. I thought at that point it would take months to make any difference because I felt so bad. In 6 to 7 sessions I was a completely different person and able to talk about issues for the first time in my life with no tears. My anxiety about everything, past present and future has gone. I have a sense of appreciation for what is happening in the moment without being anxious about the future. Techniques learnt give me a wonderful sense of calm. One piece of advice I would give is to find the right counsellor and for me that was Lynette. I also know that she is still contactable and there for me if I need her. Thank you so much Lynette."

"Having suffered from anxiety and depression on and off for many years and being treated by my GP, I looked to counselling and therapy to help. This is when I found Lynette. During the first session she was able to tease out the many of the reasons for the way I was feeling. She explored my core beliefs something that I had no idea would be affecting the way I coped and felt about things. Lynette was able to help me put many of my thoughts into perspective. This allowed me to make some radical but positive decisions regarding my work which have all been a positive. I would highly recommend Lynette as she is very professional and knowledgeable, yet has a empathetic, supportive and open personality. This enables you to feel settled and comfortable allowing you to open up and to deal with your problems."

"Being so young I never took my mental health issues seriously because I, wrongly, believed that younger people cannot suffer with mental health issues to the severity I was. For years and years, I locked that part of me up, put on a front so people would not see my 'weaknesses'. This was until my mental issues started to affect my physical health, to the point I could no longer make it to university lectures or hold a job down. I was distraught. After talking to family members, I was pushed in Lynette's direction and I honestly couldn't be any happier. She was an absolute blessing. Lynette has helped me in more ways than just ensuring that I got back on track with my mental health but also with dealing with the physical effects my crippling anxiety and depression caused. I've found someone I can talk to in a safe, calm friendly environment. Thanks to Lynette's help, I have a new way of thinking about everything. I am going back to university in September and I have found a job I love. Neither of these things would have happened without"

Female - Neath

"I went to Lynette with a massive lack of confidence and anxiety issues but after just a few sessions; friends and family have all noticed a change for the better in my personality as if i have come out of my shell. I now feel more confident, less anxious and tend to think more positively in general"

"Talking to Lynette helped me to confront issues that had affected me (knowingly and unknowingly) for years. Lynette's friendly approach put me at ease immediately and I found her extremely easy to talk to. Through our sessions Lynette helped me find the direction and focus I needed to change my life for the better and I've seen real results after only a few months. I now feel more confident and in control of my life. Lynette's support was invaluable in achieving this."

"Having suffered with depression most of my life I honestly thought there was no hope or way out for myself. I decided to try counselling and contacted Lynette. I didn't think it was going to work if I'm honest, but even after the first session I noticed a difference. Lynette is kind, warm, honest and such a lovely person with a wonderful gift and way with people. Lynette has given me my life back, she's given me confidence, made me believe in myself. It took so much for me to finally sort my life out, take that big step and I wish I had done it years ago. Counselling with Lynette has changed so much more than just myself, my relationships with my closest loved ones has improved so much more and my comfort eating has dissipated on its own. I feel like I have all the tools to deal with life's ups and downs. I'm happy, confident and most of all just enjoying life."

Female - Swansea

"I truly don't know where to begin you have helped me more than I can put into words. After years of heartache through the bereavement of my children, difficult life challenges and carrying the guilt and negativity I felt about myself, you have shown me that a lot of what I felt is not mine to carry and shown me that I am a valuable and courageous woman who is confident and doesn't need to hide away. I cannot describe the happiness I feel after your help and shedding all the negativity that I held for so long."

Female - Swansea

"Contacting Lynette was such a big step for me but the moment I met her I felt at ease. Some of the things I discussed with Lynette I had never discussed with anyone before. Lynette helped me change my life for the better and helped me find the "closure" I had been looking for. Besides Lynette's extensive qualifications, her professional nature and personality make you feel at ease and not once during the sessions did I feel judged. I am now in a stable relationship and having coping mechanisms to manage my issues if they start causing me problems which they rarely do now. I finished with Lynette over a year ago and I know she is always there if I need to chat, it is a comforting feeling when you know someone knows everything about you, all your demons and past issues and not feel judged at all. I would recommend Lynette to anyone, I don't like to think where my life path would have taken me if I didn't meet her, she has changed my life for the best."

Female - Swansea

"I have suffered with depression for almost all of my adult life and have had difficulty forming and maintaining relationships, so making the first step to contact Lynette was a very difficult one. With Lynette's kindness, patience and understanding, I have been able to find the underlying cause of my depression, release years of painful emotions and find ways to work through it. I cannot commend her enough for the genuine empathy and support I received whilst she helped and guided me in finding the tools to organise my thoughts (and life) positively. I am a totally different person now (it shows! everyone has noticed!), and contacting Lynette has been one of the best and most important decisions I've ever made."

Male - Swansea

"Lynette has helped me gain perspective in a very chaotic life. I was unable to manage simple situations, and felt I was in imminent danger of an over reaction that would have lasting consequences, personally and professionally. When I sought help I expected to have to spend a long time undoing the damage caused by years of mental and physical overexertion, but Lynette was able to give me perspective and choices in a very short space of time. I've kept the counselling private, but it's been commented on and noticed in many areas that I have a different outlook. I've seen improvements working with people I once regarded as 'difficult', and I'm sure many have the same feeling regarding me. Family life and challenges are also so much more relaxed and fulfilling. If you're worried this isn't for you, there is no stigma with exploring what makes you tick. I found every session incredibly rewarding, and the process has enhanced and improved an already successful and fulfilling life."

Lynette is a very kind and approachable person, showing genuine empathy and true professionalism. I want to thank her for enabling me to have a new start in life and to let go of the past."

"I wasn't sure what to expect with meeting a Counsellor, but after my first session with Lynette I started to understand why I felt the way I did, which was complete worthlessness and not wanting to carry on with my life. Lynette was ready to listen, discover the causes and explore solutions. I am feeling 100 times better after only 6 sessions and can't believe the change in my daily outlook. I never thought this would happen to someone like me?

Goes to show we are all 'only human'. Lynette is an excellent Counsellor and I would recommend her as she is extremely caring, genuine and worth her weight in gold. Thank you. "

Female - Port Talbot

"Before meeting Lynette my comfort eating was out of control, I was unhappy with myself physically and an emotional mess. But rather than treat the effects of my issues like I had been doing previously, by dieting with no success, I thought I'd try counselling where Lynette helped me address the cause of my comfort eating. Within a few sessions the cause was determined and Lynette helped me find the confidence I needed to take control of my life. I felt at ease sharing my innermost thoughts with her and trusted her completely. Her genuine care for my wellbeing shone through and I was amazed at how quickly my life changed once she helped me become aware of my thoughts and feelings. I am now more positive about life am losing weight with no real effort and am happy once again, for this I will be eternally grateful to Lynette"

Lynette is very welcoming and professional which made me feel at ease straight away and so I felt comfortable discussing my troubles with her. She is an excellent listener and helped me to solve the issues I was currently facing which enabled me in turn to face up to and rectify the things which were negatively affecting my life. "When I first contacted Lynette I was in an extremely dark place. I knew I had to get help but feared talking to a counsellor. One of the first things Lynette did was reassure me. I went to my first session fully convinced that I was beyond help and my life was totally hopeless. I had locked away every bad emotion and it was eating me up inside. I thought I had too many problems to ever solve. That opinion soon changed, week by week I felt myself get stronger. I soon started to feel alive again and not just going through the motions waiting to die. Lynette not only saved me but she gave my child back the mommy they deserved and I will be forever grateful. This woman is a total angel. "

As soon as we met, I knew Lynette would be able to help me. She is kind, caring and she listens without judgement. Over the course of just 2 months, we had established what had caused my problems and we worked through them at a pace that she made sure I was comfortable with. Before I knew it I was going outside alone. Lynette, you are a wonderful human being, thank you so much for all your help. Me and my family have never been happier and we have you to thank for it. Without you I would have never dealt with my past experiences and I would never feel as fantastic as I feel now. Thank you."

"I saw Lynette for some 3 months in a desperate bid to gain the help I needed to make a change in my life, after many other failed attempts with other sources. I instantly felt at ease with Lynette, I trusted her. Lynette broke down my problem into small pieces so I could see the situation for what it really was, she helped me explore the facts and helped me accept these. Actually admitting that the facts were real was just as hard, But Lynette allowed me to do this at my own pace, using visual aids/text to assist. She also instilled motivation in me, to equip myself with the external advice I needed to make changes for better. Lynette give me back, a priceless gift; 'the me', that I thought I'd lost."
